Prayer
Pray for the people that come in for boxes of food. Ask God to work through us, the volunteers, to reach these recipients with the Gospel message. Pray for the life circumstances of these people, that they may respond to the Gospel message and find that in Christ, there is hope. Our recipients need some hope in their lives.
Pray for the Board of Directors and the Executive Director. They are beginning a long range planning and visioning process. Ask that God provide them with His plan for the ministry.
Pray that God will provide us with prayer warriors that will commit to praying for the recipients, the volunteers, and the ministry.
Are you interested in the Prayer Team (see the last prayer request)? If so, Call Glenn at 425-2557 and he will give you all the details.

Food
We are always in need of things like Peanut Butter, Dried Pinto Beans, Macaroni and Cheese Dinners, Rice (especially Minute rice), Canned Vegetables (Especially green beans and peas), Canned Fruit and Breakfast Cereal. There is a significant need for now and as we grow.
Hygiene Products
Recently, a nursing class from MSU kicked off the beginnings of a Hygiene Products pantry. They saw a great need because there are no assistance programs that help obtain these items. We have begun to collect shampoo, soap and body wash, toothbrushes and toothpaste, NON-ALCOHOL based mouthwash, feminine hygiene products, laundry needs, household cleaning supplies and dish soap.
Boxes
Tender Mercies uses boxes, when they are available, to package the groceries in that we are handing out. We'll take any size and any amount of boxes you have to give. If we can't use them, we recycle the cardboard. Feel free to contact us if you have questions or would like us to pick-up the boxes. Otherwise, just stop in and we'll help you unload.
